According to a post on Nov. 26, 2011 by the Drug Prevention Network of Canada, alcohol kills 9,000 people a year while smoking kills 37,000, with absolutely no mention of deaths attributed to marijuana use.

My wife is six months pregnant as she asks me how she looks. "You look normal and healthy, like you're pregnant," I reply. Wrong answer. She already knows this (the pregnant part) and for her, this is a bad thing; she wants to have the baby without actually looking like she's having the baby.

Logan is my 12-year-old dog. I guess you could say I'm his step-dad if you consider my wife his momma (she does). She got him from the pound for all the wrong reasons on Valentine's Day after a harsh breakup, which was long before I came into the picture.

Would it make sense to congratulate a hammer for building a house? Not likely, accolades should go to the builder, the hammer had its role, but it was just a tool in the process, the bulk of the credit goes to the doer.
