2011 Simcoe Tennis Video

The 2011 Simcoe Tennis video was shot throughout the summer season at locations across Ontario. It was produced by Johnny Glanville and released in September of 2011. Many thanks go to all those that participated in a great season.

Wahnakewaning

This film was chosen as part of the 2011 Barrie Film Festival. It was shot in a single day in April of 2011. Its origins came from my father calling me up and telling me the cottage had been sold. I had a few weeks to go make sure none of my stuff was there.

The Sunnidale Adventures starring Nick and Brookelyn

It was a regular Sunday with nothing to do. You know how that is when you are 12 years old, or especially when you are 6. After being placed in charge of my 6 year old neice Brookelyn and my 12 year old newphew Nick for the day I decided to make an adventure out of an everyday experience.

Morgan Evans v Johnny Glanville

Morgan Evans made this short film from an afternoon hit we had at Timberlane Athletic Club in Aurora. He played around a bit with the effects and threw in a bit of music.

2009 Simcoe Tennis video

This video features photos and footage from the first two years of Simcoe Tennis. Set to music that was popular at that time it captures the beginning of our coaching company. We first showed the video at Coach May's BBQ party in May of 2009.

2011 Aces Challenge at Barrie Bowlerama

In 2010 we had a bowling tournament for all the players in the program. We called it the ACES challenge and made trophy for the winners that appears in the clubhouse all year long. In the second year I put together this short film to experiment a bit with the features of iMovie.

2011 MIMA PRO

The MIMA PRO is a women's PRO event in Indian Head Beach Florida. I was nearby on holiday and stopped by to watch a few matches and do some recording. I edited the film to add my tips for the players to be able to learn from what I saw.

2011 Sunrise Academy video

In the summer of 2010 we started an early morning academy called The Sunrise Academy. In its second year the program has proven to be unique and valuable to the serious competitor.

Michael Ikejiani Provincial Tiebreak

This short film was really just made for Michael's benefit and for him to be able to learn from his mistakes, but is of value for everyone else as well. By watching the video you can see where Michael gets tight and begins to wait until his opponent misses.

2011 U10 Ontario Provincials

This is one of my favorite videos and is really valuable for any player or parent who hasn't seen how good players can be while still very young. This hilight film is from the Ontario U10 Provincial championships. It features two ST Academy players; Genevieve Quenville and Michael Ikejiani.
