This film was chosen as part of the 2011 Barrie Film Festival. It was shot in a single day in April of 2011. Its origins came from my father calling me up and telling me the cottage had been sold. I had a few weeks to go make sure none of my stuff was there. I filmed a bunch of scenes on that morning and in the afternoon did all the editing. It was so I could express my sadness over losing something that was so special to me. Something I had not done in the past, expressing my emotions that is. Then a friend suggested I enter it in a film festival, so I did and it got accepted. The whole experience turned out very positive for me and taught me a few lessons. Thanks to all those who commented on it and shared their appreciation for it. I was overwhelmed by how many people connected with this film.
